She no more than had two options: Either she could refuse him, but that meant she would never see him again. Or, she could marry him on her own conditions and see where it would lead them. So, either act out the coward and choose the acceptable route, or flung herself headfirst into the unknown. She had always played safe and where had that fist her? She straightened her stance and turned to forgather her future.
